2-Phase Separator

The three sectors of the energy industry–upstream, midstream and downstream incorporate separation in their processes.

This equipment is used for land based separation of gas and liquids from the well stream. Spirit provided all components with fabrication of the ASME vessels, skid, and piping as a custom package. The customer was well pleased with the workmanship and overall quality of the project.

A two phase separator can be horizontal or vertical with spherical vessels being used for maximum efficiency. The liquid leaves from bottom level control valve to make sure all parts are separated properly while gas rises through mist extractor removing small droplets that would otherwise clog pipes together before entering into pipeline.
